About the position This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Cyber Threat Analyst - REMOTE. In this role, you will be a key player in safeguarding the organization's systems and networks. You will analyze security threats, develop strategies, and implement advanced security measures. Responsibilities • Perform triage on security escalations and detections to determine scope and severity. • Monitor cybersecurity events, detecting and investigating incidents. • Identify and recommend automation strategies leveraging AI/ML capabilities. • Support the deployment and maintenance of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tools. • Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences. • Influence compliance with security policies and best practices. • Investigate potential online threats and develop risk mitigation strategies. Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. • 7+ years of experience in security operations, threat hunting, and incident response. • Experience with Cloud, SIEM, EDR, and XDR tools, particularly SentinelOne, Armis, and Splunk. • Familiarity with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform. • Experience implementing security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST. • MUST have one or more of the following Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE.
