We are a boutique fitness studio launching in San Francisco that blends immersive lighting, electronic dance music culture, and high-energy workouts including cycle, Pilates, yoga, HIIT, and dance cardio. We are seeking a strategic Social Media and Local SEO Manager to help refine our brand positioning, increase awareness, and improve local search visibility ahead of full launch.
This is not a content-only role. We are looking for someone who understands conversion-driven marketing for brick-and-mortar fitness businesses and can think strategically about how visibility turns into leads, bookings, and long-term growth.
On the social side, we need support building and refining an Instagram-first strategy, planning consistent weekly content, writing captions aligned with our voice, optimizing profile structure, and advising on sustainable audience growth. Collaboration on paid ad creative direction is a plus, though paid ads management is not the primary focus.
On the SEO side, we are looking for a comprehensive audit of our Squarespace site, on-page optimization, development of a local keyword strategy, Google Business Profile optimization, and a clear roadmap to improve local rankings. Recommendations around blogging and backlink strategy are welcome if supported by measurable reasoning.
The ideal candidate has experience with boutique fitness or local service-based businesses and can demonstrate measurable results. We value strategic thinking, accountability, and clear communication during Pacific Time business hours.
