Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Numero Data is seeking a Senior SQL Developer/Architect to work with their client, Norton Rose Fulbright. The main responsibilities include architecting scalable database solutions, optimizing ETL processes, and leading cloud database migration projects utilizing Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server.
Responsibilities
• Architect and develop scalable database solutions using Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server
• Develop, implement and optimize ETL package, stored procedures, trigger, views and functions using Microsoft Fabric Pipelines, Data Flows, and Notebooks
• Analyze existing SQL queries explain plan and improvement improvements
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
• Creating logical and physical ERD designs
• Create Power BI reports
• Lead cloud database migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss
• Integrate various data sources to create unified data models
• Analyze and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient query execution and resource utilization
• Database changes deployment automation using Azure DevOps(ADO) pipeline
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of database designs, configurations, and migration processes
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored database solutions
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends and implement innovative solutions
Skills
• 15+ years of experience
• Must be good with MS Fabric
• Architect and develop scalable database solutions using Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server
