They are seeking a Graduate Systems RAMS Engineer to join their Rail & Transit team, where you will contribute to the development and implementation of RAM programs and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to enhance rail system performance.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of WSP’s RAM (Reliability, Availability & Maintainability) Program aligned with EN50126‑1 standards
- Prepare and maintain RAM documentation including RAM Plans, Requirements Documents, Validation Plans, and Analysis Reports
- Review railway system and subsystem designs and translate key information into functional block diagrams that support RAM analysis
- Perform RAM analyses such as risk assessments, apportionment modelling, RBD/FTA availability modelling, RAM predictions, and FMEA
- Assess whether system and equipment designs meet RAM targets and propose improvements that strengthen safe and reliable rail operations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to advance integrated system performance across projects
Skills
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline
- 1 – 3 years applying RAMS engineering methods within rail or similar complex systems
- Knowledge of CENELEC, CMREA, IEC, and military standards
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Reliability Workbench and Fault Tree++ is an asset
- Eligibility for registration as an EIT or P.Eng. with APEGA
