The Opportunity
We are seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow a defined portfolio of mid-sized to large public accounting firms. In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening client relationships, driving retention, and identifying opportunities for growth within existing firm partnerships. You will build trusted relationships across multiple levels of the firm including executive leadership and apply a consultative, value-based approach to expand LCvista’s impact beyond the Learning & Development function.

Key responsibilities
As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow your assigned portfolio of accounting firm clients while ensuring a high level of service, engagement, and long-term value. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, adaptable, and experienced in managing complex client relationships while achieving retention and growth goals.
Responsibilities include:
· Cultivate lasting partnerships with public accounting firm clients through proactive and professional communication.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned firms, building relationships with stakeholders including administrators, HR leaders, learning leaders, C-level, and managing partners.
· Identify and assess client needs to ensure satisfaction and long-term success.
· Schedule and lead client meetings, business reviews, and renewal discussions.
· Respond to client inquiries with timely and effective solutions and follow up to ensure resolution.
· Maintain accurate records of client interactions, renewal timelines, pipeline, forecast and opportunities using CRM tools.
· Adhere to LCvista communication standards and client engagement best practices.
· Proactively identify opportunities to expand product adoption within existing accounts.
· Lead the renewal process to ensure timely contract execution and strong client outcomes.
· Achieve net revenue retention and cross-selling targets across your managed portfolio.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Support teams to ensure clients receive ongoing value from LCvista.

How You’ll Drive Growth in This Role
· Develop account-level growth strategies for each assigned firm.
· Build trusted relationships with Managing Partners, CFOs, COOs, HR leaders, and other executive stakeholders.
· Expand engagement beyond Learning & Development by connecting with operations, HR, compliance, and firm leadership teams.
· Identify opportunities where LCvista solutions can support Client Advisory Services (CAS) and broader firm initiatives.
· Lead strategic business reviews and executive conversations that uncover operational needs and growth opportunities.
· Apply a value-based selling approach to demonstrate how LCvista supports firm growth, talent development, and compliance initiatives.
· Partner with Sales leadership to pursue expansion opportunities within existing client relationships.
What Success Looks Like in Your First 12 Months
· Become a trusted advisor by learning LCvista’s products and services and proactively aligning them with clients’ learning, compliance, and firm growth initiatives.
· Build strong relationships across stakeholders within your assigned firms.
· Establish regular engagement with firm leadership and key decision makers.
· Achieve strong net revenue retention through renewals and account growth.
· Develop account growth plans that expand LCvista’s footprint within each firm.
· Identify opportunities that support CAS, managed services, and operational initiatives within your client base.
· Deliver an exceptional client experience that strengthens LCvista’s industry-leading retention rate.
Here’s what we’re looking for
· At least 3 years of Account Management experience, ideally within the accounting industry or similar professional services sector.
· Experience managing relationships with mid-sized to large accounting firms.
· Ability to build relationships with stakeholders ranging from operational teams to executive leadership.
· Strong negotiation and renewal management skills.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding retention and growth targets.
· Experience identifying and acting on cross-selling and expansion opportunities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
· Comfort learning new technologies and communicating the value of SaaS solutions.
· A proactive, self-motivated professional who enjoys solving problems and strengthening client partnerships.
Preferred
· Experience working with accounting firms with 100+ employees.
· Background in SaaS, LMS, compliance, or learning technology platforms.
· Experience supporting multi-office or regional accounting firms.
· Familiarity with CPE compliance and professional education requirements.
· Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
