They are seeking a Production Engineering Specialist to support the transfer of production product lines into manufacturing, ensuring smooth line setup, equipment readiness, and production ramp-up while meeting safety, quality, and productivity requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end production line transfer and start-up
- Equipment and process validation
- Work instruction and process documentation updates
- Troubleshooting during ramp-up and mass production
- Collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams
- Develop and deliver training to production teams
Skills
- New graduate from a university program in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Graduated from post-secondary school within the last 12 months
- Above average study performance (Accumulative average > 2.5 (B-)). Transcripts to be provided upon request
- Ability to support end‑to‑end production line transfer and start‑up activities
- Basic understanding of equipment and process validation
- Ability to update work instructions, process documents, and standard operating procedures
- Strong troubleshooting skills to support issues during ramp‑up and mass production
- Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams
- Strong communication skills to develop and deliver training to production teams
- Demonstrated leadership or initiative at school, work and/or community (extra curricular activities)
- Growth mindset, with a passion for learning
- Collaborative with an ability to cultivate relationships and networks
- Agile, technically savvy, with a knack at creating solutions
- Creative thinker with a unique ability for resourcefulness
- Must have a valid Driver's license and vehicle
- Co‑op or internship experience in a manufacturing or production environment is considered an asset
