The Junior Accountant will support the accounting team in completing month, quarter, and year-end processes accurately, while gaining new skills through collaboration and contributing to financial analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- You will be successfully supporting the accounting team in fulfilling their mandate to complete month, quarter and year end processes on time and accurately
- You'll be gaining new skills and experience through learning from your colleagues
- Your role will involve aiding in the preparation of working papers for accruals, allocations, journal entries, and account reconciliations across various business units
- Additionally, you'll compile data for financial analysis, handle data entry and invoice issuance, and contribute to monthly accounts receivable reporting
Skills
- 1+ year of experience in an accounting position
- CPA student currently in the program
- Degree in Accounting
- A self-motivated individual with customer service orientation and ‘can do' attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
