**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a key member of our fabrication team, you'll be responsible for welding and fabricating heavy metal components using MIG and stick welding techniques. **Key Responsibilities**
* Weld and fabricate heavy metal components using MIG and stick welding techniques
* Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to ensure accurate fabrication
* Operate various welding equipment, including MIG and stick welders
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective production
* Participate in quality control checks to ensure high-quality products
* Perform other duties as assigned by management
**Essential Qualifications**
* 1 year of experience in welding and fabrication
* Strong background in MIG and stick welding techniques
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in welding and fabrication
* Experience working with heavy metal components
* Certification in welding and fabrication (e.g., AWS, ASME)
* Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
* Ability to work overtime as needed
