About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our international finance team, based remotely in the Czech Republic.
What you will do:
- Processing and posting accounts payable invoices;
- Handling bank transactions and payment reconciliations;
- Managing employee expense reports and travel reimbursements;
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month end accounting;
- Supporting the VAT tax return preparation;
- Supporting the UK and Ireland entities month end accounting;
- Assisting the Global Tax Director with junior tax support tasks;
- Ad hoc project work supporting the Czech and UK Controllers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role;
- A recognized finance qualification or relevant degree (e.g. accounting, economics, or business);
- Solid working knowledge of Czech accounting standards and VAT principles;
- Business-level English — you will be collaborating daily with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple countries;
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems; familiarity with NetSuite is an advantage;
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders;
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment, with strong self-organisation and ownership of your own workload;
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset — we are a scaling business and value people who are eager to develop alongside us;
- Previous experience in an international or multi-entity finance environment.
