**Job Summary**
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in processing various medical documents, insurance intake forms, and other healthcare-related data. You'll work independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion. Your attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and ability to work in a metrics-driven environment will be essential to your success in this role.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews and insurance intake forms
* Extract data from medical documents and enter it into electronic databases using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
* Work independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion
* Use critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
* Provide excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone
* Meet productivity and quality standards in a metrics-driven environment
* Collaborate with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
**Requirements**
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* At least 1 year of remote work experience in data entry or a related field
* Previous experience working in a high-volume metrics-based environment
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
* Reliable high-speed internet connection
* Own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims
* Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
**Schedule and Work Environment**
* Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST
* 100% remote position

* Competitive hourly rate of $16.00
