Position Overview – What You’ll Do Every Day As a Customer Service Representative at our Victorville station, you will be the face of arenaflex. Your role blends front‑line guest interaction, cash handling, food service, and station upkeep. You will help ensure that every fuel transaction, snack purchase, and interaction reflects our promise of safety, cleanliness, and hospitality. Key Responsibilities - Guest Interaction: Greet every customer with a warm smile, make eye contact, and thank them for choosing arenaflex. Resolve inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. - Point‑of‑Sale (POS) Management: Accurately process fuel and retail sales using multiple payment methods while adhering to arenaflex procedural standards. - Cash Handling: Maintain the cash drawer within authorized limits, secure funds in the safe, and perform end‑of‑shift reconciliation with meticulous attention to detail. - Station Cleanliness: Perform routine cleaning of indoor and outdoor areas—including restrooms, pump islands, car wash bays, and store aisles—to uphold arenaflex’s high‑visibility image standards. - Food & Beverage Service: Prepare and serve hot beverages and food items (ExtraMile and/or KKC), monitor inventory, restock shelves, and ensure compliance with local health‑department regulations. - Safety & Security: Follow all loss‑prevention, safety, and security protocols; report accidents or incidents to management immediately; and enforce age‑verification (carding) for age‑restricted products. - Vendor Coordination: Work professionally with suppliers and contractors, verify deliveries, and organize product placement on the sales floor. - Promotions & Marketing: Actively promote store specials, loyalty programs, and seasonal campaigns to drive sales and enhance customer engagement. - Regulatory Compliance: Observe local, state, and federal regulations related to fuel dispensing, food safety, and workplace hygiene. - Additional Duties: Assist with any other tasks assigned by management, including special events, inventory counts, or temporary coverage for nearby stations. Essential Qualifications – What You Need to Succeed - Proficient command of English to understand arenaflex policies, safety training, and to communicate clearly with guests and teammates. - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts—including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight hours. - Strong attention to detail, especially in cash handling, inventory management, and compliance with food‑handling guidelines. - Ability to remain calm, professional, and use sound judgment when handling challenging situations or customer complaints. - Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Current, up‑to‑date food‑handling certifications where required by local law. - Prior experience in a fast‑food, restaurant, or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
