**Job Overview**
We're seeking an experienced Chemistry Tutor to join our team, specializing in College Level Chemistry. As a Chemistry Tutor with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in the Chattanooga area, helping them to understand and apply complex Chemistry concepts. You'll work closely with our team to develop and implement effective lesson plans, tailored to the individual needs of each student.
**Responsibilities**
As a Chemistry Tutor with arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality, one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in College Level Chemistry
* Developing and implementing effective lesson plans, tailored to the individual needs of each student
* Effectively balancing tutoring hours given for each assigned student
* Providing session reports for our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session
* Successfully and professionally teaching students to fit their individual needs
* Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests
* Follow-up with office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours
* Candidates must only service students whose needs meet theirs
**Minimum Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred
* Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement
* Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry
* Ability to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session (lesson plan)
* Having a personality that is suited for different types of students
* Strong administration skills
* Strong typing, PC and recording skills
* Having reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must
* Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
* Experience working with students in College Level Chemistry
* Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and principles
* Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
