**About the Role**
As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in leading a team of hourly workforce and driving success in our Work From Home Amazon Operations leadership role. You'll be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You'll also collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives.
**Key Responsibilities and Job Elements**
* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
* Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with support teams to develop plans that meet business objectives
* Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
* Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
* Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
* Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
* Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Proven track record of success in leading teams and driving results
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in a similar role or industry, such as logistics, transportation, or retail
* Knowledge of Amazon's operations and processes
* Experience working with hourly workforce and unionized environments
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
* Experience with data analysis and reporting
