The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is seeking a Health Care Financing & Policy Analyst to join their diverse team. This role involves supporting the identification of fiscal and policy issues in the Medi-Cal program, conducting analyses, and making recommendations for executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Under supervision, the Health Care Financing & Policy Analyst serves in a developmental capacity for one or more assigned HCF program areas affecting reimbursement of providers and health plans in the Medi-Cal program
- The Analyst supports identification of fiscal and policy issues and contributes to analyses and recommendations for executive leadership
- The Analyst researches and builds foundational knowledge of the assigned policy area, including fiscal, programmatic, and legal-regulatory considerations
