• We are actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Support & Automation Specialist – Azure & Microsoft Tools to join our innovative team as we continue to build cutting-edge technology solutions. This role represents a significant opportunity to become an integral part of a team deeply committed to delivering best-in-class service and support to our valued customers.
• In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to a global community of developers and IT professionals. A key aspect of your contribution will be to enhance the overall support experience through the strategic implementation of automation. You will be tasked with troubleshooting intricate issues within the Microsoft platform, meticulously identifying root causes, and skillfully employing scripting and automation tools to streamline operational processes. We actively encourage you to challenge existing workflows, propose innovative and more efficient methods of working, and play a crucial role in implementing automation solutions that significantly reduce manual effort and accelerate response times.
• Your core responsibilities will include delivering advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for a wide array of Microsoft technologies, encompassing Azure, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), GitHub, Visual Studio Code, Dynamics 365, and Windows Server. You will be expected to expertly debug and resolve technical issues, with a strong emphasis on identifying and addressing underlying causes rather than merely treating symptoms. A significant part of this role involves designing and implementing automation tools, such as PowerShell scripts, command-line utilities, or small workflow automations, to optimize support operations and enhance efficiency. You will proactively evaluate recurring support scenarios and conceptualize automated solutions to eliminate repetitive tasks and free up valuable human resources.
• Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and operations teams to facilitate the seamless transition of manual processes into robust, scalable automated systems. A specific project will involve supporting the migration from ServiceNow to Dynamics 365, ensuring the smooth transfer of data and workflows. You will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding our technical knowledge base, documenting scripts, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices for future reference. Additionally, you will participate in community engagement events, manage occasional off-hours escalations, and consistently deliver high-quality support to our global user base, ensuring a positive and productive experience for all.
• This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while requiring coverage across both Pacific and Eastern Time Zones to support our global operations effectively.
