We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Virtual Nurse Consultant to provide remote clinical guidance, patient education, and healthcare support. In this part-time role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to assist patients, support care coordination, and collaborate with healthcare teams—all within a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote nursing consultations via phone, video, or secure messaging platforms
- Assess patient symptoms, medical histories, and needs to offer appropriate guidance
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Assist with care coordination, including referrals and follow-up recommendations
- Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Support chronic disease management and wellness initiatives
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and organizational policies
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience (telehealth or case management preferred)
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in telemedicine or virtual care environments
- Background in patient education, triage, or care coordination
- Multistate licensure (compact license preferred)
