What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Represent the Department in local, state, and national partnerships
– Act as a single point of contact for Local Workforce Development Boards/Areas
– Promote a continuous improvement culture within the team
– Coordinate with public workforce system partners to implement the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) State Plan
– Manage organizational and interagency dynamics in a team-oriented environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, business administration, or related field
– Five years of experience in Workforce Development, Economic Development, or related field
– Knowledge of long-range and strategic planning concepts
– Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
– Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Master’s Degree in public administration, business administration, or related field
– Seven years of experience in Workforce Development, Economic Development, or related field
– Strong project management skills
– Demonstrated facilitation skills
– Experience in managing organizational and interagency dynamics
