Description:
I am looking for an experienced U.S. business attorney with international / cross-border structuring experience to advise on the optimal entity structure for a business that operates internationally.
Background:
- I am a U.S. citizen.
- I own (or will own) a business that operates outside the United States.
- I am exploring what is the right entity structure for the business.
- I want guidance on the best structure from a liability, operational, and tax coordination perspective.
Scope of work:
- Review my current business structure
- Recommend the optimal entity structure
- Explain implications for liability, banking, and ownership
- Coordinate considerations with international tax reporting
- Provide guidance on entity formation
Ideal experience:
- U.S. corporate attorney
- Experience structuring U.S. entities that own foreign businesses
- Familiar with international compliance and reporting considerations
- Experience with hospitality, retreat centers, or service businesses is a plus
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S. (Florida preferred but not required)
Deliverables:
- Written recommendation for the optimal entity structure
- Explanation of pros/cons of different structures
- Optional assistance with formation and documentation
Project type:
- Initial consultation and structuring advice (1–3 hours), with potential follow-on work if a good fit.
