An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to support multiple medical-surgical units on a flexible float pool assignment in Grafton, WI. This contract position offers the chance to utilize a broad skill set while providing patient-centered care across various specialties including cardiac, oncology, orthopedic, surgical, and emergency holding areas. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care to patients on medical-surgical floors, interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing drains and central lines, performing wound care and dressing changes, and supporting short-term surgical recovery. The role requires adapting to different units as needed, ensuring safe and effective treatment within the scope of practice. Nurses are supported by dedicated charge nurses, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and tele monitoring teams. Desired Experience & Qualifications: • Current RN license with at least 1 year of nursing experience • Strong general medicine/surgical skills combined with telemetry expertise • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale required • Proficient with cardiac rhythm interpretation, wound vac management, NGT placement, PICC line care, continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), and other related nursing competencies • Experience working with diverse patient populations including post-surgical, cardiac telemetry, oncology, orthopedic, and emergency department patients Schedule/Hours: • Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Weekend rotation every other weekend • Holiday coverage on a rotating basis • 6-week scheduling cycles with advanced notice for shifts Location Highlights: Grafton is a charming community located along Lake Michigan’s western shore, offering a balance of small-town comforts and easy access to urban amenities.
