POSITION SUMMARY
- Reporting to the Vice President of Technical Services, the Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing current expenses, creating financial models for decision support, forecasting future costs based on a keen understanding of the business, identifying trends, making recommendations for improvements, and managing client invoicing. This position requires a deep understanding of financial principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders in simple terms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Expense Analysis: Review and analyze current operating expenses across all departments to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Prepare detailed reports to support management in making informed financial decisions.
- Cost Forecasting: Collaborate with business development teams to project costs associated with new business opportunities. Develop financial models to estimate potential revenues and costs, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Client Invoicing: Oversee the invoicing process for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Work closely with account management teams to resolve any billing discrepancies and ensure client satisfaction.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing accurate financial data and analysis to support the company’s financial planning process.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial data to identify key trends and insights, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and business development, to provide financial insights and support business objectives.

- Call Center experience considered beneficial
- Analytical mindset and inquisitive nature
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing work conditions in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with excellent time management
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field
- Three years of related experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
