(SFI), a two-time USAToday Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong backend and full-stack experience and recent NodeJS expertise to support mission-critical applications in an Agile environment. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining modern cloud-native systems with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability. Primary Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain APIs within a serverless AWS environment - Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, QA, and development teams - Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code using modern testing frameworks (Mocha/Chai) - Improve system performance, scalability, and availability across complex applications - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development cycles - Support ongoing feature enhancements, UI improvements, and system updates Requirements   Required Qualifications  - Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required) - 5+ years of backend and/or full-stack development experience - Proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript - Hands-on experience with AWS services, including: - AWS Lambda - API Gateway - CloudFormation - S3, SNS, SQS - Experience with ElasticSearch - Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Preferred Experience - Experience supporting federal or government technology programs Additional Information: - To meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, the candidate must be authorized to work in the United States - Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (includes fingerprinting and background investigation) - All candidates will be subject to a complete background check, including, but not limited to, Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment, and Credit History.
