Job Description:
Pay Range: $60hr - $65hr
• We are seeking a seasoned SAP Data Migration & Technical Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data conversion workstreams within large-scale SAP implementation projects.
• You will be responsible for the end-to-end data lifecycle-from extraction to post-load validation-while managing program P&L, resource allocation, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
• This role requires a blend of technical ETL oversight and strategic program governance.
Responsibilities:
Data Migration and Conversion Leadership:
• End-to-End Execution: Lead the execution of multiple data conversion cycles and final cutover migrations.
• Workstream Coordination: Manage data collection, extraction, transformation, and post-load validation across 36+ data objects (both Master and Transactional data).
• ETL Management: Develop, document, and oversee robust Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes to ensure data integrity and system performance.
• Tracking & Validation: Monitor conversion activities to completion, providing real-time updates to Work Plans and Cutover plans.
Program and Strategic Management:
• Project Governance: Develop and communicate comprehensive data conversion strategies to cross-functional stakeholders, including PMO, Business units, Corporate Engineering/IT, and external vendors.
• Program P&L: Take full accountability for Program Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring projects are delivered within budget and meet established KPIs.
Planning and Estimations:
• Estimate and submit Level of Effort (LOE) for projects/programs; develop and present detailed program plans for medium-to-large scale initiatives.
• Integration Oversight: Manage complex integrations between SAP environments and Digital Payment systems.
Stakeholder and Release Management:
• Deliver regular, high-level status updates to senior management and client leadership (e.g., Telecommunication Program Managers).
• Problem Solving: Identify key impacts in each data load and collaborate with cross-workstream teams to drive resolution of blockers.
• Release Alignment: Support and align with organizational Release Management protocols to ensure seamless deployment cycles.
Required Qualifications/ Experience:
• Proven track record leading multiple SAP data conversion cycles in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP data objects (Master and Transactional) and ETL methodologies.
Management:
• Experience managing Program P&L and delivering complex integrations (Digital Payments experience is a plus).
Communication:
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical IT teams and business stakeholders.
Tools:
• Proficiency in project management software, cutover planning tools, and SAP migration workbenches.
