Solution Architect
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid: 3 Days in Office and 2 Days Remote)

The role requires a seasoned solution architect with expertise in building data warehouses and data lakes using modern data engineering techniques and architecture. This person is expected to be available full-time for this project with the following skills and responsibilities:
• Expert in building data warehouses and analytics solutions using Snowflake.
• Mastery in building Azure cloud solutions, especially using ADF.
• Expert in GIT and branching strategies for Azure ADF.
• Expert in administering Azure DevOps, including release management.
• Knowledgeable in optimizing cloud operational costs.
• Expert in Snowflake platform.
• Expert in modern data warehousing and data lake concepts.
• Expert in data protection, privacy, access control, and masking.
• Embrace infrastructure-as-code and make sure all deployment and release activities are automated.
• Accountable for the solution's architecture, design, non-functional, and quality requirements.
• Expert data modeler responsible for conceptual, logical models that meet business needs today and can withstand the test of time.
• Design a data platform to enable citizen analysts to perform self-service analytics.
• Ensure metadata like data catalog, data lineage, and labels are captured.
• Review and approve work in Snowflake and data lakes like DDL, metadata, and other scripts
• Review and approve pull requests for all the development activities.
• Assist with troubleshooting end-to-end solutions and help developers and testers.
• Should be able and willing to participate in development activities throughout the solution's technology stack.
