Position Summary: The Solar Field Service Technician Level III performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites. The Solar Field Service Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants in accordance with established preventative and corrective maintenance standards while always maintaining safety and professionalism. This is a 100% travel position. Description Company: Here to Serve Workforce Solutions, LLC. Role: Solar Technician 3-Travel Position Job Type: Full-time  Compensation: $34-44/hour Core Responsibilities: · Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment. · Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to, work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules. · Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment, QEW Certified. · Testing/troubleshooting installed solar equipment and ensuring proper working order. · Must have a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). · Able work in a solo as well as a group environment. · Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the HTS Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience: · 4+ years’ experience in Commercial/Industrial operations and maintenance (O&M) on solar power plants is preferred. · Preventative Maintenance experience on Solar Utility equipment is preferred. · Candidates should possess strong mechanical and electrical experience with troubleshooting and installation skills. · Specific solar experience with Inverters, Tracker Systems, or Sub-Stations Equipment (TMEIC/SMA/Sungrow/Nextracker/ATI, etc.) is preferred. · Takes initiative to escalate issues at site. · Ability to train, mentor, and develop laborers into Apprentices. · High aptitude and a strong work ethic are a must. Physical/Work Environment: At HTS safety is our number one concern.
