Job Description: Sales Operations Analyst (1-3 Contractors) Role Overview Flexera is seeking one to three entry-level Sales Operations Analysts (Contractor) to join our Revenue Organization. We are seeking individual freelancers for this role. We cannot work with an agency due to background check requirements. In this role, you will support the sales team with day-to-day operational activities, including reporting, forecasting processes, and system administration. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Deal Desk, Order Management, and Revenue Accounting to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the revenue organization. The role provides support across quoting, contracting, ordering, billing, and revenue compliance. It requires strong knowledge of SaaS business models, Salesforce, Flexera products and systems, and the ability to support a wide-array of deal scenarios. Success in this role depends on clear communication, cross-functional collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset. Key Responsibilities - Serve as an operational partner to Sales, providing support throughout the deal lifecycle, from opportunity development and quoting through booking, approvals, and postbooking follow-up. - Establish strong working relationships with Sales, Renewals, Finance, Revenue Recognition, Deal Desk, and Legal - Provide guidance on documented deal processes and compliance requirements, escalating non-standard scenarios as needed - Assist Sales teams with opportunity management, quote creation and booking process within Salesforce and related systems - Ensure all deals, quotes and orders are compliant with renewable base amounts, appropriate approval levels, company policy, and internal controls per checklists - Perform order and forecast pre-checks, validating deal type, ensuring correct products, SKUs, pricing, and quantities are used, or other discrepancies prior to booking. - Support weekly and monthly sales and forecast reviews, ensuring accuracy and alignment across systems - Assist in maintaining standard sales reports and dashboards (pipeline, bookings, activity) - Assist AEs and internal teams in addressing customer inquiries related to contracts, invoices, and entitlement issues through detailed account research - Maintain high standards of data accuracy, data hygiene, and system integrity, including resolving duplicate or inaccurate customer records - Actively participate in process development, process improvement initiatives, and ad hoc projects across Sales and Revenue Operations - Partner with manager on system enhancements, testing, and ongoing data hygiene Experience & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Accounting, Finance, Analytics, or a related field. - Preferred experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Order Management, or Contract Operations within a SaaS or technology environment. - Working knowledge of Salesforce (CRM, quoting, and order workflows). - Skills in Microsoft Excel for analysis and calculations. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and resolve issues according to standard operating procedures - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain scenarios clearly to non-technical audiences. - High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
