[Remote] Paid Media Manager – Team Leadership Required

PBJ Marketing is a rapidly growing, full-service digital marketing agency seeking a Paid Media Manager with prior experience in digital marketing. The role involves developing and managing a portfolio of PPC accounts and marketing campaigns, maintaining client communications, and leading a small team to ensure successful campaign execution. Responsibilities • Maintain ongoing, proactive, and consistent communications with clients on account progress, performance, and problem resolution • Develop multi-channel, fully integrated Paid Digital Marketing campaigns and strategies, including Search, Display, Social, Video, etc • Leverage several online and offline tools to carry out analysis and to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of Paid Media accounts • Actively test and analyze paid search ad copy to achieve maximum ROI • Execute and analyze monthly paid media business metrics, budgets, and reports • Research and evaluate paid marketing efforts and identify new campaign opportunities • Track paid media best practices, bid management systems, keyword developments, and industry trends • Manage one direct report with full accountability for performance, development, and day-to-day support, with the opportunity to help scale and mentor a growing team as the department expands Skills • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience managing Paid Media campaigns • Minimum 2 years of managing direct reports • Minimum 4 years in a client-facing role • 5 to 7 years of experience working on Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax, Shopping), Microsoft Ads, and Paid Social advertising (TikTok Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing or any relevant major • Advanced web skills, proficiency with Excel, search engine interfaces, and ad platforms • Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Eagerness to deliver under tight deadlines • The personal discipline to manage and develop campaigns for clients • Outstanding time management and organization skills • The ability to work solo and with a team as needed • The ability to accept constructive criticism in a professional manner and to learn from edits • Comfort with constant personal and professional growth Benefits • Unlimited Paid-Time-Off and Generous Company Holiday Schedule • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance — 75% Covered by PBJ • Top-Rated 401(k) Plan with Company Match • $100k Life Insurance policy — 100% Covered by PBJ • Opportunity for New Business and Company Growth Commissions • Company-sponsored professional development opportunities • Casual, fun work environment with a true work-life balance and culture • Flexible work-from-home/telecommuting policy Company Overview • PBJ is a digital marketing consulting, website development and mobile application development company in New York.
