About the position
We are seeking a PMO Lead - ERP Transformation to oversee and drive the strategic execution of a multi-year enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation initiative across our client organization. This role will lead a team of Program Managers and Project Managers tasked with consolidating multiple ERP systems into a unified, modernized platform on SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business goals, operational efficiency, and cost optimization. The PMO Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining program governance, ensuring project execution excellence, and driving stakeholder alignment at the executive level. This role requires deep experience in ERP transformation leadership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments with multiple competing priorities.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage multiple ERP transformation programs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and objectives.
• Develop and enforce program governance frameworks, standardized reporting, and best practices to ensure program efficiency and compliance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program-wide risks that could impact delivery, financial performance, and business operations.
• Partner with executive leadership, solution architects, and business unit leaders to define and implement an ERP roadmap that meets organizational goals.
• Act as the primary liaison between executive sponsors, global process owners, IT leadership, and business stakeholders to align priorities and expectations.
• Provide strategic recommendations, progress updates, and risk assessments to the steering committee and executive leadership team.
• Oversee organizational change management efforts to drive adoption, minimize disruption, and optimize value realization from ERP transformation initiatives.
• Directly manage a team of Program Managers and Project Managers across multiple ERP workstreams, ensuring successful project execution and delivery.
• Oversee multi-million-dollar program budgets, ensuring effective cost control, resource allocation, and financial forecasting.
• Manage relationships with ERP implementation partners, system integrators, and third-party consultants to optimize engagement effectiveness.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA with existing systems and oversee rigorous data migration, testing, and post-go-live support strategies.
Requirements
• 15+ years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5+ years leading ERP transformations at an enterprise level (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Proven expertise in PMO leadership, overseeing large-scale ERP rollouts, consolidations, and global system integrations.
• Strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder management experience, including working with C-level executives.
• Hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams, external vendors, and implementation partners in complex environments.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes, including Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Order Management.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies for ERP implementation.
