After Hours Remote OnCall Position For PNP/FNP-Supplement your Income!
This is a great opportunity to make extra income while working in the comfort of your own home! We are looking to add to our Pediatric team to SHARE a monthly call schedule . Nps are asked to fill in the available dates and shifts and a schedule is created based on NP Team availabilites.
Looking to fill occasional weeknights(5p-8a), and weekend shifts (12p-8p)(8p-8a )+ occasional Holidays (8a-8p, 8p-8a)(premium holiday shift fees paid). Other shifts may be available.
Nurse Practitioner OnCall, a national after-hours call group is seeking to hire experienced PNPs/FP for our Pediatric Team doing remote work triaging calls for our Pediatric Clients. If you are looking to supplement your income working from home and taking shifts that fit into your lifestyle, Nurse Practitioner OnCall would like to meet you!
Calls are received from an answering service(no direct calls to Providers)to our secure phone pager app where. messages are displayed for call backs. NPs are expected to call back within a 15 minute call frame, (no more than 30 min) and resolve each problem with a resolution of advice, treatment, or referral to ED if needed. Providers expected to document in our simple, exclusive client portal(NOT an EMR) with pertinent information required, press send, and move on to the next caller's needs. ALL calls must be documented by 8am the following morning.
Must have command of the English language.
Sorry, no new grads. Primary Care/Pedi ER experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate has many years of experience in a pedi setting; able to think quickly, have patience and effectively communicate with parents to assess the situation using evidenced based protocol to bring a resolution by giving expert advice, treatments or referral to UC or ER. Must be Must be able to handle large call volumes (up to 30 calls on weekend shifts)
Base Pay guarantee PLUS per call fee. Potential to earn up to $500/Shift. Paid as 1099 contractor.
Must have current:
• Massachusetts NP license
• MCSR certificates
• Malpractice Insurance (preferably $1,000,000 - $3,000,000)
• References
• Current NP certification
• Computer and smartphone
