Oracle AP Functional Consultant Location: Cleveland, Ohio (Remote)Employment Type: Contract Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle AP Functional Consultant to support Accounts Payable initiatives, enhancements, and day-to-day functional needs within our Oracle finance environment. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and designing technology-based business solutions to solve complex business problems within the Oracle ERP Finance domain. This is a hands-on role focused on delivery and business partnership. Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering and discovery workshops with stakeholders and SMEs.Provide functional support for Accounts Payable (AP) processes in Oracle, including subledger accounting and AP-related reporting.Configure solutions, and support testing and enhancements.Collaborate with business, process, and technical teams to resolve AP issues.Create functional and technical specifications with clear acceptance criteria.Configure and support Oracle Finance across Oracle Cloud and R12 (Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, General Ledger).Partner with developers, data analysts, and testers to deliver solutions.Plan and execute testing, including strategy, scripts, functional testing, and UAT support.Assist with short-term initiatives and backfill coverage as needed. Required Qualifications Education: A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Oracle ERP implementation, support, or business systems analysis is required. Strong functional expertise in Oracle AP and a solid understanding of subledger accounting are necessary. Experience working in environments with both Oracle Cloud and Oracle R12 is required. Knowledge of how Purchasing integrates with AP is also needed. Technical Skills: A working knowledge of basic SQL and relational table concepts for troubleshooting and data validation is required. A strong understanding of SDLC concepts and system testing principles is also necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Coupa and/or Concur.Oracle Procurement or Purchasing functional knowledge.Experience supporting integrations and data loads.Exposure to GL, Fixed Assets, or Cash Management modules.
