Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Independent Lead Generation Consultant to drive new business opportunities through strategic outreach and relationship building. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in B2B sales, telemarketing, and technology sales to identify potential clients, nurture leads, and contribute to the growth of our client portfolio. This is a 1099 commission only position. Commissions paid on completed sales.
Duties
• Research new leads using various methods including software, phone calls and email
• Develop and implement effective strategies for business development aligned with company goals
• Utilize software to track interactions, update lead status, and manage pipelines efficiently
• Collaborate with marketing teams to align outreach efforts with promotional campaigns and market trends
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs
• Maintain detailed records of all communications, meetings, and follow-up actions
Skills
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
• Proven experience in B2B sales, technology sales, or inside sales environments
• Proficiency in telemarketing and outbound calling strategies, including warm calling techniques
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
• Knowledge of customer service principles combined with a proactive approach to business development
• Ability to work independently with high motivation and self-discipline in a remote or flexible setting
• Sales experience is a plus, especially involving commercial lighting
