About the position
FocusKPI is looking for an HR/People Operations Specialist to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company. This position is remote and can be done from anywhere in the US. The duration of the contract is 6-7 months, with a pay range of $20/hr to $25/hr.
Responsibilities
• Communicate updates, recent policy changes, and guidelines on U.S. immigration to employees, HR, and management.
• Serve as the main point of contact for global mobility Tier 1 matters within the case management system, ServiceNow.
• Provide day-to-day coordination with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. HRBPs, Recruiting, etc.) and quality assurance for global mobility programs and tasks - anticipating, escalating, and resolving issues and related matters as necessary.
• Act as the main point of contact for the client's team throughout their immigration and relocation lifecycles, and ensure an excellent employee experience at each stage of the process.
• Be responsible for end-to-end case management and monitoring of domestic mobility cases within ServiceNow.
• Work closely with external immigration counsel to ensure adherence to compliance, service level standards, and communication protocol.
• Provide ad hoc support for general HR Operations and HR Compliance.
Requirements
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in an HR Operations role.
• Demonstrate success working in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Workday, and Greenhouse.
• Immigration/external vendor management experience.
• Experience as a paralegal or case manager in an immigration law firm environment is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for exceptional customer experience.
• Attention to detail and organization; able to balance multiple projects and deliver on SLAs on a daily basis.
• Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Sheets, Calendar, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with impeccable multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to efficiently troubleshoot and manage complex situations.
• US immigration experience preferred.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience as a paralegal or case manager in an immigration law firm environment.
