• Unlimited PTO – A culture that truly encourages time off
• Shorter, More Manageable Busy Season – Intentionally structured workload
• Remote Flexibility – Fully remote for East & Central Time Zones
• Stable, Longstanding Firm – Nearly 100 years old with zero private equity involvement
• High Retention – Average employee tenure of 9.5+ years
• Leadership Opportunity – Influence strategy without rigid partner-track pressure
• HNW Client Base – Deep, relationship-driven advisory work
What You Will Be Working On
• Lead and review complex 1040 engagements (~70–80% of workload) for high net worth individuals
• Oversee pass-through entities (S corps, partnerships, family investment structures)
• Provide advanced tax planning and strategic advisory services
• Serve as a primary client relationship leader for key HNW families
• Partner closely with wealth advisors on integrated planning strategies
• Drive practice development initiatives and contribute to firm growth
• Mentor and develop tax professionals; foster a high-performing, collaborative team
What We’re Looking For
• 8–12+ years of tax experience (public accounting, family office, or wealth management)
• Deep expertise in complex individual taxation (HNW focus)
• Strong experience with pass-through entities
• Trust & estate tax knowledge is a plus
• CPA or EA required
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead engagements
• Interest or experience in business development / practice growth
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
• Comfortable operating in a remote-first, autonomous environment
Compensation & Benefits
• $200K–$250K base salary + performance incentives
• Sign-On Bonus available
• Unlimited PTO
• No billable hours
• Reduced, sustainable busy season
• Medical, retirement match, life & disability insurance
• Continuing education & certification support
• Progressive, people-first culture with strong technology adoption
If you're ready to step into a high-impact leadership role in a stable, client-focused wealth management environment—without the intensity of public accounting—this is a rare and compelling opportunity.
