About Give to Africa
Give to Africa is a U.S.-based nonprofit empowering communities across Africa through philanthropy, technology, and economic development. We connect global donors with grassroots organizations and are building Yendaa, our digital fundraising platform designed to unlock sustainable funding for community-led initiatives.
We are seeking a Fundraising & Grant Writing Manager to help secure funding, write grant proposals, and support our growing fundraising efforts. This is a remote, performance-based role for a motivated professional who wants to grow with a mission-driven nonprofit and participate in building a scalable platform.
Compensation Structure
This is a performance-based contract role and does not include a fixed salary.
Compensation includes:
• Percentage-based compensation tied to funds successfully raised
• 5% equity share in Yendaa, our digital fundraising platform
• Opportunity to grow into a long-term leadership role
This structure is designed for individuals who are motivated by impact, ownership, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and write grant proposals to foundations and funding partners
• Identify and engage potential donors and funding opportunities
• Support digital fundraising campaigns and donor outreach
• Contribute to fundraising strategy and funding pipeline development
• Help strengthen Give to Africa’s fundraising infrastructure
Availability and Commitment
We are seeking someone who is actively available and able to commit a minimum of 25 hours per week to this role. This position requires consistent focus, responsiveness, and follow-through. It is best suited for professionals who have the availability and flexibility to engage deeply in fundraising activities and help drive meaningful results.
