Key Responsibilities:
As a Patient Collections Specialist, you will support the end-to-end billing and collections process for Chrysalis Health programs. Responsibilities include:
· Perform billing and collection activities within established timelines
· Verify and apply Medicaid, HMO, and insurance billing codes and reimbursement rates
· Assist with audits, ensuring compliance and quality assurance of documentation
· Manage high volumes of phone communication with clients, families, and payers
· Maintain and update billing databases and EMR systems
· Respond to inquiries and documentation requests within 24 hours
· Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and RCM leadership
· Represent Chrysalis Health professionally during all interactions
· Communicate with patients professionally and compassionately
· Resolve billing issues and denied claims
· Meet all annual training and compliance requirements
What You Need to Succeed:

· Skilled in navigating Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
· Comfortable with databases and billing systems (e.g., Winasap 2000)
· A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
· Able to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
· Compassionate, patient, and mission-driven
· Knowledge of insurance and Medicaid billing
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Minimum Requirements
· High school diploma or GED
· At least one year of billing, collections, financial services, or administrative experience in a healthcare environment
· Proficiency with computers, billing software, and EMR systems
· Clear background check annually
