They are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to support strategic financial planning and analysis activities, providing financial insights and decision support to contribute to the company's financial health. Responsibilities - Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term strategic plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams - Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year - Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights that inform key business decisions, highlight opportunities for cost optimization, revenue growth, and risk mitigation - Assist in the preparation of presentations for management, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual planning processes - Lead and/or support ad hoc projects and analysis as required - Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of financial reporting and analysis processes Skills - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - 1-3 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint - Accounting experience and knowledge of GAAP - Experience in financial modeling, planning and forecasting, and data analysis - Analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial analysis into clear, actionable insights - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing solutions - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with all levels and functions of the organization - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines - Driven, self-motivated and inquisitive nature - CPA or equivalent professional certification - Technology skills including AX/D365, HFM, OneStream, PowerBI Benefits - Medical - Dental - Vision - Life - Short-term disability - Long-term disability - Pet - Legal and ID shield - 401k plans - Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) - Health Saving Account (HSA) - Flexible Spending Account (FSA) - Dependent Care FSA - Mentorship - Promotional opportunities - Training and development - Tuition reimbursement - Internship programs - Volunteer paid time off - Employee events - Charity drives - Accrued leave policy - Paid holidays - Paid time off - Paid parental leave Company Overview - Bio-Techne is a supplier of tools for life science research, therapeutic manufacturing, and clinical diagnostics.
