**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
* **Client Experience:**
+ Greet customers and patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
+ Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
+ Model and promote arenaflex's customer service best practices, including relational skills and service qualities
* **Tasks:**
+ Process transactions on assigned sales register, collecting cash and dispensing change as needed
+ Register client buys, voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as necessary
+ Take clients to the OTC walkway to assist with finding items
+ Maintain counters and retirements clean and well-organized, taking stock and keeping records
+ Check in and cost stock as required or as directed by senior supervisor or shift leader
* **Pharmacy Operations:**
+ Perform tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data
+ Ensure data is accurate and complete, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medication
+ Confirm medication is correct and check for potential interactions
+ Report remedy mistakes to the pharmacist on duty and follow arenaflex's policies and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program
+ Audit and follow the arenaflex Co. Pharmacy Governance guidelines
* **Administrative Tasks:**
+ Process (revised and resubmit) manual cases for external program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
+ Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director
* **Stock Management:**
+ Assist and support the Pharmacy Division on stock management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medication
+ Maintain knowledge of arenaflex's resource security methods and record claims for distribution center overages (stock received, but not charged), deficiencies (stock charged, but not received), order errors, or damaged products, including Rx medication
* **Regulatory Compliance:**
+ Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products)
* **Visual Merchandising:**
+ Build and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special designs, and deal stock
+ Complete resets and corrections as directed
* **Food and Beverage:**
+ Assist with the division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/methods (e.g., raw and frozen meats on base retirements)
+ For consumable items, aid stock rotation, using the first-in, first-out technique and restock outs
* **Photography:**
+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital identification photo service, banner print, and creative machine
+ Sell special photo items
* **Web Order Fulfillment:**
+ Take on web order responsibilities (screen orders in Picture Care, handle orders, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store)
* **Maintenance:**
+ Assist with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store condition and appearance
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
* Familiarity with pharmacy systems and software
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* 6 months of experience in a retail environment
* Previous work experience with arenaflex
* Strong numerical skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
* Proficiency in computer skills
* Knowledge of store stock control
* PTCB certification
