As a Pharmacy Technician-in-Training or an experienced Pharmacy Technician, you'll have the opportunity to work with our Board of Pharmacy-approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program. This comprehensive program includes online modules, internal video trainings, and hands-on training with a designated preceptor – all at no cost to you!
**Key Responsibilities**
As an LTC Pharmacy Technician Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service to patients by building loyalty and repeat business
* Championing arenaflex programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assisting with patient enrollment
* Supporting the Pharmacist in Clinical Service offerings
* Counting, measuring, and packaging medication in the appropriate container under pharmacist's supervision and final approval to accurately fill prescriptions
* Inputting prescriptions into the computer for accurate transmission to insurance companies
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Be at least 18 years of age
* Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
* Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
* Experience with data entry and computer systems
* Strong communication and customer service skills
