As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be the eyes and ears for our team, fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond. You'll work in a collaborative and engaging environment, interacting with people from all walks of life, and no two days will be the same. **Responsibilities**
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:
* Fielding inbound calls from medical professionals, using medical terminology, to request and verify benefits
* Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries
* Providing excellent customer service through active listening
* Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively
* Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive
* Appropriately and professionally communicating with customers
* Providing support for Health Care Providers
* Researching benefit information
* Handling situations which may require adaptation of response or extensive research
* Accurately documenting and maintaining all interactions
* Responding to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments
**Qualifications**
We're looking for fearless individuals who are inspired to deliver only the best in all that we do. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment
* 6 months of customer service experience preferred
* Over 18 years of age
* Ability to type 25 wpm
* High School Graduate or GED
* Comfort with desktop computer systems
* Proven oral and written communication skills
* Logical problem-solving skills
* Ability to navigate Windows operating systems
* Organization and work prioritization skills
**Work from Home Requirements**
To ensure a seamless and productive work experience, you'll need to meet the following work from home requirements:
* Internet Requirements:
* Minimum subscribed download rate equal to or exceeds 15.0 Mbps
* Minimum subscribed upload rate equal to or exceeds 5.0 Mbps
* ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 50ms
* Internet connections cannot be Satellite, Mobile Data (5G, 4G, 3G hotspots), P2P, or VPN
* Proof of internet speed required
* Clean and quiet workspace
