**Key Responsibilities:**
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Accounting, Financial Accounting, Designing, Product, Finance, Assessment, Legal, and other teams on projects, processes, and initiatives, and assist with driving key system drives and enhancements
* Create and design comprehensive bookkeeping data requirements to support the consistent automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes
* Lead functional improvement initiatives to further streamline financial tasks and shorten the financial close schedule
* Screen data quality of journal entries prepared through the Financial Subledger and design Data Quality checks for identified use cases through bookkeeping requirements planning, ad-hoc examinations, new product launches, etc.
* Work with the Product and Designing teams to continuously improve our daily Financial Compromise process and oversee compromise examination with the assistance of the investigation team
* Review new product plans presented during internal Financial Consistency meetings
* Audit meetings and evaluate impact on existing or need for new bookkeeping requirements for the Financial Subledger
* Cross-collaborate with cooperating teams on journal entry streams for new or existing products for automation through the Financial Subledger
* Perform monthly financial bookkeeping close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP financial analysis, cost of sales analysis, cash due compromises, audit journal entries, and review close package expectations
* Conduct impromptu examinations and activities as assigned
**Why We're Excited About You:**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Science, or related field
* 3+ years of experience in financial bookkeeping, data analysis, or potentially business intelligence
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS an asset
* Transitional/high-level SQL skills and ability to work with large volumes of relational data, Python an asset
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing work environments
* Ability to collaborate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both internally and remotely
