**The Role**
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure data solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop technical requirements, and implement data-driven solutions that meet our clients' expectations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Support local business groups in pursuit of key business opportunities, and engage with clients to address aspects of the data lifecycle
* Identify business and technical requirements, conduct thorough technical discovery, and architect client solutions to meet collected requirements
* Lead technical projects, including technology advocacy, supporting responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources
* Work with arenaflex Cloud Platform products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in client/partner environments. Travel for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite deployment activities as needed
* Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight the arenaflex Cloud Platform value proposition, using techniques that include whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* 6 years of experience in virtualization or cloud native architectures in a customer-facing or technical role
* Experience with traditional analytic warehouse solutions, Big Data technologies, real-time streaming, performance, and scalability optimizations
* Experience with cloud computing (e.g., cloud market, aggressive dynamics) and participating in technical presentations or public speaking
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with architecture design, implementing, tuning, schema design, and query optimization of scalable and allocated systems
* Experience in technical consulting or expert consulting in cloud computing, data analytics, and Big Data
* Experience growing data warehousing, data lakes, batch/real-time event processing, streaming, data processing (ETL/ELT), data migrations, data visualization tools, and data governance on cloud native architectures
* Understanding of cloud computing, cloud market, engaged dynamics, and customer buying behavior
* Understanding of customer needs with the ability to break down the needs and design a technical architecture
**Skills and Competencies**
* Strong understanding of cloud computing and data analytics concepts, including virtualization, containerization, and orchestration
* Experience with Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
* Proficiency in programming languages, including Java, Python, and SQL
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement scalable and secure data solutions
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
