**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our laboratory operations team on the 2nd shift. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory data entry processes. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Data entering lab requests, double-checking test orders, and recognizing when corrective action is needed
* Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements
* Championing safety, compliance, and quality control
* Helping patients without being face-to-face
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Typing proficiency, including 10-key
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
* Data entry experience in a production environment

This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI).
