For more information, visit guardanthealth.com and follow the company on LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and Facebook.  The Director, National Accounts – Health Systems is a senior commercial executive responsible for driving substantial national revenue growth and shaping enterprise strategy across Guardant Health’s most complex and strategically significant national IDNs and Organized Customer Groups. This leader serves as executive sponsor to key national accounts, influences enterprise governance at the highest levels, and shapes Guardant’s national health system engagement model. The Director leads complex contracting strategies, enterprise transformation initiatives, and data-driven growth strategies that impact the broader commercial organization. Scope & National Impact - Owns Guardant’s largest and most strategically critical national health systems - Accountable for significant national revenue targets and long-term profitability - Leads multi-state, enterprise-wide adoption strategies - Shapes Guardant’s national commercial approach and segmentation strategy - Impacts organizational strategy beyond assigned accounts - Serves as mentor and strategic advisor across enterprise account teams Key Responsibilities National Revenue Ownership & Strategic Growth - Own and deliver substantial national revenue targets - Develop long-term enterprise partnership strategies spanning multiple states - Lead enterprise expansion from initial engagement to national standardization - Structure and negotiate complex, multi-year and risk-based agreements - Ensure forecasting precision and executive-level revenue visibility Executive Sponsorship & Board-Level Engagement - Serve as executive sponsor to:- Chief Population Health Officers - CMOs - CFOs - Enterprise Strategy Leaders - Present Guardant’s enterprise value proposition at governance committees and board-level forums - Influence national preventive care and screening strategies at the highest levels Enterprise Change Management & Transformation Leadership - Lead large-scale health system transformation initiatives - Guide national systems through standardization across diverse geographies - Align cross-functional Guardant resources to support enterprise transformation - Drive cultural alignment and stakeholder engagement within complex systems Advanced Contracting & Financial Strategy Leadership - Lead sophisticated contracting strategies including:- Risk-sharing agreements - Multi-year enterprise contracts - Value-based performance models - Shape internal commercial strategies based on payer-provider economics - Provide executive guidance on reimbursement and regulatory shifts Data Analytics & Strategic Insight - Leverage advanced population health analytics to inform national growth strategies - Interpret enterprise quality and utilization dashboards - Develop board-ready ROI analyses tied to quality improvement and cost avoidance - Identify national expansion opportunities through data-driven modeling Organizational & Cultural Leadership - Establish national enterprise playbooks adopted across regions - Mentor and develop Senior Managers and enterprise account leaders - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strategic excellence - Advise executive leadership on enterprise risk and growth opportunities Qualifications - 15+ years progressive leadership in enterprise health system strategy, diagnostics, or population health - Demonstrated ownership of large national revenue portfolios - Proven board-level presentation capability - Extensive experience with complex, risk-based contracting structures - Deep expertise in value-based reimbursement and quality metrics - Advanced financial and data analytics fluency - Demonstrated success leading enterprise transformation initiatives - Exceptional executive presence and strategic influence Hybrid Work Model: This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies.  Guardant has defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.  The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. This range does not include benefits or, if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, education, job-related skills, job duties, and business need. Primary Location: Remote - Open Position (USA) Primary Location Base Pay Range: $163,800 - $225,250 Other US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $163,800 - $225,250 If the role is performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is: $163,800 - $225,250 Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
