We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Analyst to join our Data Analytics, Research and Statistics Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting data-driven decisions in our Municipal, Criminal, Civil and Family Courts. Job Summary: The successful candidate will assess needs, prepare detailed requirements, provide requirements to developers, and test and create end-user documentation for reports and dashboards. You will also coordinate with other teams to ensure data is available to support analytics and work in a highly collaborative environment to gather and analyze feedback to ensure deliverables are continually relevant. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate interviews with subject matter experts and business users to elicit requirements for reports and dashboards Create detailed requirements for reports and dashboards, including business rules, data mappings, visualizations, mockups, basic summary statistics, and drill-down Verify availability of data in the data warehouse to support reports and dashboards and determine where expansion is needed Analyze raw system data to ensure report and dashboard requirements properly account for data issues and work with business and technical teams to improve data quality Provide report and dashboard requirements to developers, ensuring they are fully understood Test reports, dashboards, and data to ensure they meet requirements and are accurate and complete Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a field related to computer science, information technology, or a related field 1 year of professional experience in analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, resolving technical problems, testing, defining business requirements, training, and/or installing computer systems applications Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience with Tableau and querying data via SQL is preferred What We Offer: Competitive salary range: $67,238.54 to $113,982.01 (Schedule A) or $67,238.54 to $108,282.93 (Schedule B) Flexible/hybrid work schedule with up to 3 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings Comprehensive benefits package, including state health benefits, pension program, and generous leave program Opportunities for professional growth and development How to Apply: To apply, please submit your application through our online portal.
