Job Description: As a Bartender at Marriott International, your key responsibilities will be to prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. You will also be responsible for accurately totaling, processing, and collecting payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and providing receipts. Responsibilities: – Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons – Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks – Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations – Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails – Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age – Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies – Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience – Comply with all food and beverage regulations Requirements: – Proven working experience as a Bartender – Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks – Positive attitude and excellent communication skills – Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean – Relevant training certificate Educational Qualifications: – High School Diploma or equivalent – Bartending school diploma will be a plus Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
