Job Title: Warehouse/Logistics Business Consultant/Director
Job Location: 100% Remote work
Duration: 3+ Months Initially (High Chances of extension)
Payrate: $80 to $150 per hour
Description:
This Contractor will map the end‑to‑end movement of blood containers across our enterprise—spanning Collections, Service Delivery, and Warehouse operations.
The individual in this role must be able to function effectively with a high degree of independence and minimal direct supervision.
Responsibilities:
· Map the end‑to‑end movement of blood containers across Collections, Service Delivery, and Warehouse operations.
· Identify and document all nodes, handoffs, flows, and decision points in the current process.
· Identify operational gaps, risks, bottlenecks, and redundancies in the lifecycle of blood container movement.
· Help in creating a business case for this future state solution
· Assist as needed on Container projects
Qualifications/Skills:
· At least 10+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics and inventory management consulting
· The ideal candidate will also have some technical experience in this space to recommend products which might meet the business need
· Expertise in different industries. Experience in retail and life sciences warehouse/logistics management will be ideal.
· Successful delivery of enterprise-scale process mapping or network assessments.
· Experience with operational mapping tools (Visio, Lucid, BPMN).
