Job Summary: Join TLC: The Literacy Connection team at San Luis Obispo County Public Libraries as a compassionate and dedicated Volunteer Adult Literacy Tutor. Make a positive impact on the lives of English-speaking adults struggling with limited literacy skills. As a volunteer tutor, you will play a crucial role in empowering learners to improve their literacy skills and achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to improve learners' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help learners build confidence in their literacy skills. Regularly assess learners' progress and provide feedback to help them track their achievements.
