As a Training Specialist, you will be at the forefront of executing our comprehensive training and development strategy, playing a pivotal role in shaping the skills and readiness of our diverse talent pool, known as Divers. This role is instrumental in ensuring our Divers are equipped to excel in various specialities, including Administrative Operations, Marketing Operations, Business Operations, and Chief of Staff roles, among others. • Your primary responsibility will be the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of innovative learning programs. This involves developing and facilitating engaging training sessions that cater to a wide spectrum of Diver career levels and specific pathways. You will leverage modern instructional design principles and cutting-edge digital learning tools to create interactive and impactful learning experiences. A key aspect of this role is the ability to customize training modules, ensuring they are relevant and effective for each Diver's unique career trajectory and the specific demands of their roles. • A significant part of your impact will be in partnering closely with Pod Leaders and Integration Teams. This collaboration is crucial for ensuring a seamless transition from training environments to real-world client integrations. You will proactively identify potential skill gaps among Divers and provide timely, actionable interventions to Pod Leaders, thereby supporting both individual growth and overall team performance. By understanding the unique strengths and development areas of each Diver, you will inform and shape ongoing learning initiatives, ensuring they are targeted and effective. • Measuring the success and impact of our training programs is paramount. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust assessment tools to meticulously track training effectiveness and monitor learner progress. Gathering comprehensive feedback from participants and key stakeholders will be essential for refining and enhancing our training offerings. Utilizing data-driven insights will be critical in continuously improving the learning experiences and ensuring they yield tangible, positive outcomes for our Divers and our clients. • This role also involves a strong focus on knowledge management and collaboration. You will contribute to the development and enrichment of the Oceans Learning Hub, our centralized repository for learning resources. Working in close alignment with the Head of Diver Success, you will ensure that all learning initiatives are strategically aligned with Oceans' broader talent development objectives. Collaboration with internal teams, including HR and Integration, will be key to ensuring that our training programs not only meet business objectives but also directly address evolving client needs and expectations. • Your primary partners will be the Divers themselves, and you will work closely with our Training, HR, and Integration teams to empower our clients by ensuring they receive the utmost value from the Oceans talent network. Where opportunities arise to deepen our client relationships, you will collaborate with our Integration team to foster exceptional Diver-Client partnerships. This cross-functional role reports directly to the Strategic Learning and Development Partner, providing a clear line of accountability and strategic direction. • We believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where individuals from all backgrounds can thrive. Experience managing remote training programs and working with geographically dispersed teams, alongside excellent facilitation skills, will be highly valued. • The ideal candidate will possess a T-shaped profile: deep expertise in training and development, combined with broad curiosity and an understanding of how our clients' businesses function, how Oceans can foster employee growth, and the role of global talent in organizational success. Your ability to design and deliver engaging, learner-centered experiences, facilitate effectively across various environments (in-person, virtual, blended), and leverage digital tools for scalable learning will be key. Furthermore, demonstrating a keen business acumen, understanding commercial insight, and applying it to learning initiatives that drive real business value are essential. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are also vital for building alignment and sustaining productive partnerships. • This is a hybrid role, requiring approximately 1 to 2 days per week in our Colombo office.
