Key Responsibilities
Trade & Platform Operations
- Monitor trading platforms to ensure uptime and execution quality
- Oversee trade flow, execution, and pricing in real time
- Identify and escalate execution issues, slippage anomalies, or pricing gaps
- Manage trading sessions, market openings/closings, and instrument configurations
Liquidity & Pricing
- Monitor liquidity feeds and ensure competitive spreads and depth
- Liaise with liquidity providers to resolve pricing or execution issues
- Analyze spread widening, latency, and execution quality (markouts, slippage)
- Assist in optimizing routing and aggregation settings
Risk & Exposure Monitoring
- Monitor client positions, exposure, and overall risk in real time
- Support hedging strategies and execution of risk mitigation actions
- Identify unusual trading activity or potential abuse (e.g., arbitrage, latency exploitation)
Trade Lifecycle Management
- Handle trade adjustments, corrections, and dispute investigations
- Ensure accuracy of trade records and reconciliation
Incident Management
- Act as first responder for trading-related incidents
- Investigate platform issues, outages, or abnormal market behavior
- Coordinate with tech teams and external providers to resolve issues quickly
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 2+ years experience in trading operations, dealing desk, or brokerage environment
- Strong understanding of FX, CFDs, or crypto markets
- Familiarity with trading platforms
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Problem-solving mindset with quick decision-making ability
- Excellent communication skills
Working Conditions
- Shift-based role (aligned with global market hours)
- On-call availability for critical incidents may be required
