We provide supportive, trauma-informed services to individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. We are seeking dedicated Substance Use Counselors (ADT, CAC-AD, CSC-AD) who are passionate about helping individuals achieve and maintain recovery.

What You’ll Do:
Provide individual and group counseling for substance use and co-occurring disorders
Complete intake assessments and contribute to treatment planning
Support clients with relapse prevention and recovery goal setting
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program standards
Collaborate with clinical and peer support staff
Connect clients to community resources and support services
Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training
What You Bring:
Active ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD credential in Maryland
High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s preferred for certified roles)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Understanding of substance use treatment and recovery principles
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB test
Nice to Have:
Experience in outpatient, IOP, or community-based treatment programs
Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction
Familiarity with EHR systems
Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus
Physical Requirements:
May require sitting, standing, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs)
Able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
