Senior Information Specialist

We're seeking a talented and passionate Senior Information Specialist to join our Information Engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in planning and building the technology platforms and datasets that empower systems and individuals to uncover new insights and optimize business outcomes. About This Role This is an exciting opportunity within Percepitive's Information Engineering gathering. This team focuses on technology platforms and datasets that enable systems and people to uncover new insights and optimize actions to meet business objectives. We need your expertise to help plan and build these vital systems. As a Senior Information Specialist, you will: Apply deep knowledge of technology choices, technology platforms, design processes, and approaches within the Information Engineering environment to build systems that address business challenges. Build systems and datasets utilizing software best practices, data management essentials, data storage principles, and the latest advancements in distributed systems and operational excellence best practices. Analyze source systems, identify critical data sources and change prerequisites, design reasonable data models, and document the design/specifications. Demonstrate a passion for quality and efficiency through the use of proficient development methods, principles, and guidelines. Successfully communicate with diverse teams and partners, elevate technical and managerial issues brilliantly, and resolve conflicts. Peer review work, effectively mentor other team members, improving their skills, their knowledge of our systems, and their ability to complete tasks. Essential Qualifications 3+ years of non-temporary position proficient software development experience. 3+ years of non-temporary role planning or architecture (design patterns, unwavering quality and scaling) of new and existing systems experience. Experience programming with at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience. Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field.
